- The "Pacific Northwest" Portland,Oregon is my home. A lover of the Pacific Coast beaches, skiing, hiking, mountain biking,swimming, tennis pilates, and fresh air. A favorite passion is driving across North America and discovering all the wonderful treasures it beholds. Traveling to the far reaches of the universe encountering diverse cultures, art, architecture, music and the people is always at at the top of my list. Having traveled to Japan and Spain in my more formative years has shaped the way I view the world and has inspired me to be a artist,designer and educator. Perhaps this is why my fascination about learning is passionate. When the opportunity presented itself to teach young children how to draw and also create my own Children's Art workshops once again it altered my perceptions and thinking processes of communication. It has introduced me to the world of Web 2.0 my new mission in engaging learners through Multi Media Art Education. I am drawn to projects like Quest Atlantis and One Laptop Per Child OLPC read my blog for more information.
